My husband and I have been looking for a good family activity that provides great exercise but is also something that our 3 year old can participate in. We live in Alaska where it is winter 7 months out of the year, with snow on the ground in both spring and fall. That prevents alot of outside activities, and we are stuck for ideas. We thought maybe a karate class (our son would love to run around and kick stuff for an hour), but no karate studio in town allows a family class. Does anyone has any ideas of how we can get some exercise year round or seasonally that is appropriate for our whole family? Q. If this question has already been asked, I'm sorry in advance. Basically, what my question is, is that what have you (and your family) done to help out their standpoint in these tough economic times. If you are not feeling the hit of the economy, than this question does not pertain to you.
