A. First off, you posted this question only 30 minutes after your previous one. You should make the question more clear or specific (e.g., listing the the exact television model, if possible, aside from the brand) so that more people can understand and try to answer your questions. Sorry for the attitude, but let's move on with that said and done. I did a simple Google search, and found a website (Fixya.com) that focuses on technical support, instructions & repair services. Anyway, after some searching, I found a pdf file that should suit your needs nicely. There are several codes listed under use for Emerson TVs, so you should try them out starting with the first one (004), and working your way to the last one (037). Good luck.

I want to program my dish remote to control my emerson vcr. Can anyone help me? I don't know the codes?
Q. I contacted the 800 number on my VCR and they did not know the codes. Go figure! Thank you, Scott R. I now have my remote programmed, but maybe I did not ask the question correctly. When I want to program to record, the DISH menu asks for the code of the VCR. and I don't have it. Now that it is programmed in my remote, will that work for recording?

A. Your VCR company will not know the codes usualy for the dish network receiver. read the satellite receiver manual. I am assuming when you say "dish" you are referring to Dish Network. If this is correct, keep reading If it is not a "dish network remote then I cant help you" However the instructions for programming the remote are in the manual. I promise. I only know how to program the Dish network remotes off the top of my head. If you don't have the manual then. You can do a code search. Press and hold the VCR button down till all the device buttons blink. Then press the power button (big red button) Then press either the 'up' or 'down' on the navigation buttons till the power either comes on or off on your device. DO… [cont.]

I bought an Emerson 32" LCD tv. No one, incl. Emerson, can give me the remote TV codes...?
Q. It is an LC32EM8A model I just bought. I'm trying to program a Comcast 3in1 remote. I called Emerson cust. svce. and they said if the Emerson codes don't work, try either Sylvania, Symphonic or Funai. None of them work. Does anyone else have any suggestions or codes that may work? I've searched the internet and tried every code suggested by anyone and none are good. It's not so much the power, but the volume controls...having to change between both remotes each time I change channels really stinks. Help! Thanks!!!

A. Different universal remotes have different codes for the devices they will activate, so telling people the exact brand of TV set does only half the job. As to your problem, read the manual the remote came with. It should give a rotating number sequence which you can use to activate and then save when it comes to the correct code and turns on your TV.

The codes they have for an Emerson TV are as follows: 0002, 0502, 0006, 0115, 0506, 0706, 0520, 0906, 0316, 0505, 0614, 0622, 0324, 0924, 0626, 0826, 0027, 0327, 0128, 0228, 0632, 0134, 0247, 0605, 0705, 0805, 0703, 0903, 0004, 0519, 0106, 0104, 0304, 0604, 0804, 0005, 0105, 0305 FYI, the link somebody else posted to tv.manualsonline.com has a link to download the manual from the Philips website. The manual itself doesn't contain any codes; they archive those separately at the website so that they only have to update one data set.
