Can a filipino-japanese citizen married to a filipino citizen in the philippines file a divorce in japan?
Q. Divorce is legal in Japan but does not have dual citizenship so he chose to be a Japanese citizen there. While on the other-hand the Philippines considers dual citizenship but there's no divorce there just annulment. If he(a dual filipino citizen) is married to a pure filipino citizen in the Philippines filed a divorce in Japan, is there still a need for an annulment in the Philippines?

A. Would a "pure" Filipino citizen in your friend's situation have to file for annulment in the Philippines? If yes, then so does your friend. Since he's a citizen of both countries he needs to follow the procedures of both lands.

Q. if i marry a filipino citizen does that enable me to stay in that country, im an australian citizen and i don't want to go back home yet. what are the different ways for me to stay longer in the philippines

A. As an Aussie tourist you can extend your stay by 59 days at a time up to 2 years. Easily done at BI offices. Once you marry you can apply for a non quota 13a residents visa which will allow you to live here permanently.. Check here for all the details you need on both these options and other info you will need: You have plenty of time to decide on the right course for you so don't rush into anything you may later regret. Good luck Uzi.

what is the process for a Filipino citizen to become an American citizen?
Q. I am specifically asking about a Filipina citizen, because I think maybe people from different countries face different circumstances in doing this.

A. the process is the same for all people applying no exception, Citizenship is one of the most coveted gifts that the U.S. government can bestow, and the most important immigration benefit that USCIS can grant. Most people become U.S. citizens in one of two ways: By birth, either within the territory of the United States or to U.S. citizen parents, or By Naturalization. In addition, in 2000, Congress passed the Child Citizenship Act (CCA), which allows any child under the age of 18 who is adopted by a U.S. citizen and immigrates to the United States to acquire immediate citizenship. A. As an American citizen, you wouldn't need a visa before traveling to Dubai. You would apply for the visa on arrival at the airport in Dubai, like any other US citizen, assuming you are traveling on your US passport. Take a look at travel.state.gov and check out the consular information sheet for the United Arab Emirates.

If you come to Nevada, please visit Reno, lots more to do up here and we have less random crime then Lost Wages. We also have a large Phillipeno population. You may find someone you knew and can steer you rightly. You can also go to any public library and using their computers, send me an email and I will guide you around. A. You can own land or condos just as long as you can pay for it, pay its taxes, maintain it as well as pay for association dues if you happen to buy it in a subdivision. For farmlands, there is a limit of 5 hectares that will not be subject to agrarian land reform should the workers tilling the land want to take over.
