What do i have to renew every year for my small business?
Q. I incorporated almost a year ago, subchapter s for website I am working on. I had paid for incorporation, business license, zoning for home business, and secretary of state. Now the website is still underdevelopment and I have not made any money yet. So, what is the rundown of what I need to renew/pay/file/tax for my second year? no employees other than me and 2 partners. have hired contractors for small jobs. was planning on making money quicker, but changed our business model a couple months back.

A. Do you have employees? Is your business a liability risk? Why did you incorporate in the first place? If you are not making money yet I dont see any reason to incorporate. Most folks wait until they either hire employees, make a LOT of money, or have some sort of severe liability risk before incorporating.

Q. Can i renew my philippine driver's license 5 months before my birthday? Is there a specific time interval before I could renew my license? I just want to get things done early, that's why I want to renew it 5 months earlier before it expires.

A. The normal timing is one month before. But My friend who was going to travel and won't be back before his license expires was allowed to renew his license 3 months before, and only after he explained his circumstance. I guess if you give them a valid reason (other than wanting to do it earlier), then they will allow. I think that renewing licenses based on actual expiration dates make the process more orderly, because the "renewers" will be in equal batches. Imagine if everyone wanted to renew on a certain month - - - there will be chaos.

A. If you have a green card, you cannot leave the U.S. for more than one year without special permission from USCIS (its called a re-entry permit). If you do so, you will lose your residency entirely.

A. Each state has a different process and cost. In MIchigan, my certificate cost $175 to renew, here in Texas it was $120. The best thing to do is to google your state board of education. The cost should be stated pretty straight forward on their website. Best Wishes!

A. They totally do check on your insurance status so don't try to renew without insurance. This is what you do. Go to AAA or call them. They have the least expensive insurance in the state. I have had multiple insurance agents try to beat it and when I tell them what my one year price is they are shocked and ask you sure that isn't 6 months. Anyways go to AAA or call them and set up a insurance policy with them and do the monthly payments. They are very good very reasonable and you can get it done right.

Q. I need to renew my ipconfig every time I log-on to my work computer to get onto the internet and to have access to the network. To do this, I open cmd and type in ipconfig/renew. I have added cmd to the startup so the window automatically opens but I still need to manually type in ipconfig/renew. Can I have the ipconfig automatically renew at startup so I don't need to manually type it in every time?

A. If you are eligible to renew by mail, they will send you a notice and you fill out the form and send it back with a check. You don't need a vehicle registration. Q. A couple years ago (2005) I renewed by mail. They sent a little sticker for the back of my DL and it has since rubbed off. I don't remember when it expires. I tried to get online insurance and was denied due to expired license. Motor Vehicles will not let me renew on there web-site, because they have not sent me a renewel notice.
